Data Connectors
TRAC D-SUB
The connectors meet the protection class IP44 according to EN 60529. Each cable entry can be fitted with a 360° EMI shield connection with integrated strain relief. All connectors can be coded if needed also after assembly.
The key characteristics of these railway suitable connectors are the following:
stable zinc-cast hood | strain relief on the cable | 360° shield contacting on the cable clamp with a shield bushing | excellent contacting between hood and cable clamp | easy to code | all accessory screws made of stainless steel
TRAC DIN
The two-part TRAC F hood made of die-cast zinc enables the connection of six cables with outer diameters of up to 12 mm. Each of the 6-cable inlets can be fitted with a 360° EMV shielding. In addition, the connector can be coded if needed, to avoid incorrect connections.
Up to a cable diameter of <12 mm, the same cable clamps as for the data plugs D-SUB TRAC are used and also the same compression tools can be used accordingly.
The assembled plug meets the following requirements:
EN 60529 protection class IP44/used in interior rooms
IEC 61373; VDE 0115-106 (oscillations and shock)
M12
GTM12 are M12 connectors based on the industrially proven M12 connector technology and the basis of the EN 61076-2-101 standard, which have been consistently adapted to the supplementary requirements of railway technology and tested according to EN50155.
They can be assembled in the field, and have turned crimp contacts and a reliable shield connection with a shield spring. The design is extremely slim and has a low weight. With IP 67, the products offer the required degree of protection to meet the influences to be expected in railway technology.
- Suitable for railway applications,
- Resistant housing (metal)
- Small form factor (slim design),
- EN45545
- Field-terminable
- Turned contacts
- Contacts are supplied with the product
- IP67
- Cable range 6.0 - 8.5mm
GTB12 are M12 connectors with bayonet quick-release locks based on the industrially proven M12 plug connection technology and the basis of the standard EN 61076-2-101, which have been continuously adapted to the additional needs of railway technology and tested according to EN50155.
Bayonet couplings compared to screw-connected connections are much simpler, and more safely lockable. They offer the greatest possible vibration resistance by a form-fit, defined clicking-in of the bayonet catch.
They can be assembled in the field, have turned crimp contacts, and have a reliable shield connection using shield springs. The design is extremely slim and has a low weight. With IP 67, the products offer the required degree of protection to meet the influences to be expected in railway technology.
